About TORC Press

TORC Press is a Small Press Comics Publisher based out of Central Illinois.  Joseph Morris is the Sole Owner and Operator of the business, and Writes, Draws, Colors, and Prints all of the Comics.  He can also be hired to do commission work, or for writing or drawing.

TORC History

TORC Press was founded in October 1999 and has been consistently publishing comics ever since.  The original TORC Press comic was Pulp Horrorshow #1, which featured the debut of TORC Press's flagship character, Cactus Joe the Clown, as well as his archenemies, the Ortex Corporation.  TORC Press has published well over 100 comics, created hundreds of characters, and explored just about every genre of comic there is to explore at one point or another.  In addition, TORC Press has exhibited work all over the continental U.S., most notably at numerous Wizard World Shows (Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Ohio), SPACE in Columbus, OH, STAPLE in Austin, TX, Heroe's Con in Charlotte, NC, and APE in San Francisco, CA, not to mentioned dozens and dozens of smaller shows throughout the Midwest.
